Korean War Veterans Memorial: Arlington, VA

Honoring those who served during the Korean War, this memorial is one of the newest in Washington. Consisting of nineteen figures representing every ethnic background that served, these statues represent the brave men and women as they move toward victory in Korea. They are supported by a dark grey granite wall of 2400 faces of land, sea and air support troops. A Pool of Remembrance with the names of the Allied Forces at the base honors all who were killed, captured, wounded or remain missing in action.
The public may visit the Korean War Veterans Memorial 24 hours a day. However Rangers are on duty to answer questions from 9:30 am to 11:30 pm daily.
